THE MIDNIGHT BIKER REVENGE / Chapter 4 / 5

Chapter 4 - The Iron Skulls Storm the Gates

The front glass doors of Sam’s Diner didn't just open—they exploded inward as Jax kicked them off their reinforced steel hinges with a single, brutal strike of his boot. Behind him, a tidal wave of heavy leather, flying colors, menacing chains, and scarred knuckles flooded the establishment. Fifty elite members of the Iron Skulls motorcycle club poured into the cramped diner, completely filling every square inch of space, their faces shrouded in absolute, cold fury.

Tyler and his thugs released Rebecca instantly, stumbling backward until their spines hit the griddle. They raised their hands in total surrender, trembling so violently they could barely stand.

Jax strode through the sea of leather and chrome, his eyes locked entirely on Tyler. He didn't raise his voice; his whisper was ten times more terrifying than a scream. “You laid hands on what belongs to the Skulls.”

“M-Man, we didn't know—we were just—!” Tyler stammered, wetting his lips in sheer panic.

“You didn't know,” Jax repeated coldly, stepping directly into Tyler’s personal space. With one fluid, devastating motion, Jax grabbed Tyler by the collar and hoisted him bodily off the floor, slamming him against the stainless-steel refrigerator with a crash that echoed like thunder. “The next time you even look in this kid’s direction, we won't just break your bones. We’ll bulldoze this entire town into the dirt. Get out of our sight. Now.”

Tyler and his cronies didn't need to be told twice. They scrambled over the broken glass, tripping over each other as they sprinted out the back door into the night, abandoning their car in their absolute terror.

The diner fell into a heavy, reverent silence. Jax turned around, his stern expression melting instantly into genuine concern as he walked over to Rebecca, who was sliding down the prep table, shaking from shock and adrenaline. He knelt down on one knee right beside her, gently pulling the oversized leather jacket tighter around her trembling shoulders.

“You okay, kid?” Jax asked softly, his large, tattooed hands remarkably gentle as he checked her bruised arm.

“I’m... I’m okay,” Rebecca wept softly, tears finally breaking free down her cheeks. “I didn't have anywhere else to go... my uncle locked me out... I had nowhere.”

Jax stood up slowly, looking around the room at his assembled brothers. Skulls president ‘Iron Mike’ stepped forward, a towering veteran with a graying beard and a heart of absolute gold. Mike looked at Rebecca, then at Jax, and gave a slow, definitive nod.

“Pack your bags, Rebecca,” Mike said with authority. “You’re coming home with us. No kid with that much grit ever has to sleep on a cold floor again.”

Within an hour, Rebecca’s meager belongings were packed into a duffel bag strapped to the back of Jax’s chopper. As they roared down the highway away from the suffocating diner and her abusive past, heading toward the sunlit expanse of the club’s communal ranch, Rebecca realized she wasn't an abandoned orphan anymore. She had just gained fifty terrifying, fiercely loyal fathers and brothers who would guard her life with their dying breath.
