Chapter 5 - The Sunrise and the New Dynasty**

Six months later, the autumn leaves turned the sprawling grounds of the Moretti estate in Westchester County into a brilliant mosaic of gold, copper, and amber.
Emily stood on the wide stone veranda, holding six-month-old little Sal in her arms as the morning sun warmed the crisp air. The gardens were bursting with blooming roses, and the sound of soft classical music drifted from the open French doors of the grand salon.
Footsteps approached softly from behind. Salvatore walked out onto the veranda, holding two cups of hot coffee. He handed one to his daughter and stood beside her, looking out over the endless green lawns that stretched toward the Hudson River.
“He has your eyes,” Salvatore murmured, smiling down at his grandson, who was coofing happily and reaching for the silver buttons on his grandfather’s waistcoat.
“He has your stubbornness,” Emily corrected with a playful laugh.
Salvatore smiled, wrapping a warm, protective arm around his daughter’s shoulders. “A Moretti needs to be stubborn to survive in this city. But he will never have to fight alone. Not while I’m breathing.”
Emily leaned her head against her father’s shoulder, feeling an overwhelming wave of absolute peace and unshakeable security. The monsters of her past were locked away in concrete cells, stripped of their power, their wealth, and their names. The high-society world that had once watched her suffer in silence now knew better than to ever cross a Moretti again.

Down by the grand iron gates, the estate guards stood at attention, securing a fortress built not on fear or cruelty, but on absolute loyalty, fierce protection, and unconditional love.
Emily looked down at her son, kissed the soft crown of his head, and smiled toward the bright horizon. The storm had finally passed, and the dynasty had only just begun.
